Grayson was born and raised in Oklahoma City and is a 2007 graduate of Casady School. In 2010, he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from SMU’s Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences. After a half-decade of polymathing, Grayson enrolled—like his paternal grandparents and uncle before him—at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2020. Since then, Grayson has completed an M.Div. at Knox Theological Seminary, which he earned in 2025.
Grayson is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts and primarily practices in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution as well as estate planning and its offshoots.
Prior to joining the Firm, Grayson was a member of Oklahoma Governor J. Kevin Stitt’s senior staff team, where he served as legal counsel, policy advisor, and, for a short time, chief of staff. In those roles, Grayson managed cross-functional teams; served as a high-profile surrogate; and provided strategic counsel to the Governor, cabinet secretaries, and other state officials and employees on a wide range of legal, legislative, and regulatory issues. While counsel to the Governor, Grayson litigated several complex matters, including cases involving state constitutional and statutory interpretation, federal Indian law, and open records compliance.
Before joining the Stitt administration, Grayson clerked for the Honorable Judge Thomas E. Prince of the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals.
In law school, Grayson worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Justice, the Solicitor General Unit of the Office of the Oklahoma Attorney General, Continental Resources, and the Lower Colorado River Authority. He also served as an assistant articles editor for the Oklahoma Law Review and was a student member of the Federalist Society.
Grayon’s popular writings have appeared in The Gospel Coalition, Public Discourse, Front Porch Republic, The American Spectator, and The Oklahoman, among others. His “A Regulating and Watchful Law: Oil and Gas Conservation Law & the North Dakota Industrial Commission” appeared in the January 2020 edition of the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal.
Grayson and his wife, Abby, along with their three daughters, are members of King’s Cross Church (PCA), where Grayson is both a Ruling Elder and a candidate for gospel ministry. While at King’s Cross, Grayson and Abby have participated in and led small groups and volunteered in the nursery. Grayson enjoys life as a “girl dad” and, time permitting, watches college sports, reads political philosophy, and innovates in the kitchen.
